This important international event, scheduled at the&nbsp;<strong>Viterbo<\/strong>&nbsp;circuit, will serve as an excellent shakedown for the 2026 Kal\u00ec Kart chassis and for the new drivers who have joined the team and Lenovo\u2019s Karting Academy project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A total of nine drivers will line up for this first racing weekend:&nbsp;<strong>Davide Bottaro<\/strong>&nbsp;in the top OK class,&nbsp;<strong>Julian Rivera<\/strong>&nbsp;in OKJ,&nbsp;<strong>Mark Loomets<\/strong>&nbsp;in OKN-J,&nbsp;<strong>Alex Mrozik<\/strong>&nbsp;in OKN, and five drivers in Mini Gr3 (<strong>Julian Van de Coterlet<\/strong>,<strong>&nbsp;Tariq Soofi<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Filippos Troulis<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Eeashan Swaroop<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>Aarutharan Prabu<\/strong>). The Lenovo team will be led trackside by Mariano De Faveri, supported by Roberto Musio as Mini category coordinator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Starting this weekend, the team will take part in all WSK events. From May onward, the racing programs will split: OK and OKJ drivers will follow the FIA Karting calendar, competing in the COTF events, FIA European Championship, and FIA World Championship, while the OKN and Mini categories will focus on the Italian Championship. This first race weekend begins today with&nbsp;<strong>free practice sessions<\/strong>&nbsp;and will conclude with the&nbsp;<strong>Finals on Saturday, February 14<\/strong>. Live Timing and Live Streaming will be available on the promoter\u2019s official website (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.wskarting.it\/\">www.wskarting.it<\/a>), along with social media content shared by the team on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Team Technical Manager&nbsp;<strong>Mariano De Faveri<\/strong>&nbsp;introduces the weekend: \u201cWe chose to use January to prepare our season with factory activities and testing, skipping the first two races of the year. But finally, this weekend our program begins, and we will have a total of nine drivers competing. Speaking about the drivers, in the first three months of the year we will still have the opportunity to complete our line-up, with some announcements already coming in the next few days. As for the sporting programs, the Lenovo team will operate under a single structure in WSK events before splitting into two distinct directions: OK and OKJ drivers will compete in FIA events, while the OKN and Mini squad will focus on the Italian Championship. As already announced, Davide Bottaro will be our reference driver in the OK category. In OKJ, we made a bold choice by welcoming two very young drivers, Mark Loomets and Julian Rivera, both in their first season in this category. For this reason, they will need to gradually gain experience, but this decision is fully aligned with the&nbsp;<strong>Academy<\/strong>&nbsp;philosophy that Lenovo aims to introduce with this project. Regarding Loomets, this weekend we have chosen to register him in OKN-Junior to allow for a more gradual transition, while Rivera had already raced with us last year and will start directly in OKJ. This weekend we will also have Alex Mrozik in OKN and no fewer than five drivers in Mini \u2014 a category that will play an increasingly central role in our activities and for which we will soon announce new drivers.
