THE NEW KALÌ KART WEBSITE IS ONLINE

This week the Tinini Group has launched the new Kalì Kart website. This is a further piece of the promotion plan of the historic Kalì Kart brand, which implements the communication area, providing users with an online platform complete with all useful information regarding the range of chassis, the activity of the Kalì Kart Racing Team and contacts relating to the sales and assistance network.

The website has a simple but refined layout and also from a content point of view it has an essential and very functional format. The three main sections will allow users to have all the information on the company and the history of Kalì Kart, the brand on which CRG itself was founded and which boasts 10 world titles under its belt. The second section and heart of the site concerns the range of produced chassis, with all the technical data sheets, images and the possibility of downloading all the homologation fiches. The third main section of the homepage is dedicated to the Racing Team, so that all Karting enthusiasts can have a direct line with the racing division and constant feedback on the evolution of Racing chassis. The website is completed by the news section, constantly updated, as well as the part dedicated to sportswear and the product catalogue.

It is worth saying that the Kalì Kart communication platform is already active with its own pages on Facebook and Instagram, both with the official Kalì Kart account. Plese find here the link to visit the official Kalì Kart website: www.kalikart.com

VERY USEFUL WEEKEND FOR KALÌ KART RACING AT THE WSK MASTER SERIES IN FRANCIACORTA

It was a weekend with many ups and downs for the Kalì Kart colors at the WSK Super Master Series in Franciacorta.

Certainly not the result we wanted, especially in the MINI category, where we only lost the opportunity at the last corner of the Final to get back to the lead of the championship with Cristian Blandino. It was also a shame that Pedro Campus retired in the Prefinal after he had done very well in Qualifying with an excellent P4 overall.

But above all, the weekend of Simone Bianco and Aleksandar Bogunovic was difficult in KZ: all the big names from that category were there and for both Kalì Kart drivers at their first experiences it was not possible to enter the 36 finalists, despite some excellent indications regarding their potential.

Very simular situation for Oskar Poberaj in OK Junior: in his second race in this category, several times he had the speed of the best but he also made some normal mistakes due to his lack of experience.

Finally, both Peter Stiller and Stefano Pedani did an excellent job in OK running good Heats and completing a very intense work program with both the chassis and the engines. Unfortunately Stiller had a technical problem in the Prefinal and his retirement excluded him from the finalists, while Pedani finished the Final P23.

The Kalì Kart project is young, but the team is working very hard in preview of the next International events and in the coming weeks some new additions of technicians are expected to make the racing team of this glorious brand increasingly ambitious.

CRISTIAN BLANDINO AND KALÌ KART ON THE SECOND STEP OF THE PODIUM IN ROUND 2 OF THE WSK MASTER SERIES

Another positive weekend for Kalì Kart Racing in the 2nd Round of the WSK Super Master Series. In the Mini category Cristian Blandino confirmed himself at the top and after taking POLE in Qualifying Practice, he won 2 Heats out of three. Unfortunately in the Prefinal he was stopped by a broken chain, but in the Final, after leading the race until the last lap he finished P2.

Pedro Campos also did very well in the Mini Under 10 class: started at the back of the grid due to a contact in the Prefinal and recovered 23 positions finishing the race P13, while Domenico Coco was classified P31.

The OK drivers’ weekend was more difficult with Stefano Pedani and Aleksandar Bogunovic both qualified for the Final, but out of the top ten, due to some contacts caused by the difficult and slippery track when switching between rain and slick tires. Unfortunately, 2 retirements in the Heats excluded Peter Stiller from the Final, but his performances showed great potential in many phases of the weekend.

Now that the Cremona race is over it’s already time to think about Round 3 scheduled for Franciacorta next weekend.

ANOTHER WIN FOR KALÌ KART WITH BLANDINO IN THE 1ST ROUND OF THE WSK MASTER SERIES

The WSK Super Master Series Rnd. 1 in Lonato has been a very useful weekend from a technical point of view for the Kalì Kart official team.

For the first time, the Kalì Kart squad was on track in full force in the Mini, OK and KZ categories and it is normal that some organizational and technical mechanisms were not yet at 100% of the potential. The balance of the weekend was in any case positive, both from a sporting and technical point of view. For what concerns the results, Cristian Blandino’s new win in the Mini category stands out: he now leads the championship standings with 76 points.

Also Nikita Ljubimov had a leading weekend with Kalì Kart colours. The Estonian driver started P3 in the Final and finished P5 under the chequered flag, after having also been leader of the race. The weekend for the Mini drivers in the Under 10 class was more complicated, with Ben Piscopo out of the Final after a contact in Qualifying, which compromised his weekend and Pedro Campus only P29, due to some technical problems.

In the OK category, the weekend was very useful for understanding the functioning of the 2024 tires, which required many setup adjustments to achieve a good level of performance. The best of the Kalì Kart drivers was Peter Stiller who started P17 from the starting grid of the Final, after excellent performances in the Qualifying Heats, but his Final ended due to a contact after just 3 corners of the 1st lap. Aleksandar Bogunovic, very fast in the Prefinal on Sunday morning, unfortunately suffered an engine problem in the Final, finishing only P23, while Stefano Pedani missed the Final by a few points.

Finally, first race with the sole aim of gaining experience for Simone Bianco in KZ. His weekend was as expected with many ups and downs but a lot of potential has already been seen and his adaptation process to the new category will be very rapid.

Next race: Cremona in 2 weeks.

THE KALÌ KART RACING TEAM AND TM KART SIGN A PARTNERSHIP FOR 2024

The Kalì Kart colors of the official team recently set up by the Tinini Group for the main WSK and FIA Karting races will join the TM Kart engine brand in exclusivity for the 2024 season.

The announcement was made in the past few days, making official a collaboration which will see the official Kalì Kart drivers of all categories, from MINI to KZ, powered by TM engines.

It will be a 360° collaboration and two TM engine engineers of great value will take care of the Kali Kart drivers at the races: in the MINI category it will be Salemi Engine of Giovanni and Marco Salemi, while for the OK and KZ classes it will be Machac Motors of Jiri Machac to provide the technical service on the track.

Currently the official Kalì Kart team manages a total of 9 official drivers and the structure can have up to 10 drivers throughout the season, covering all the international categories, including the MINI one.

Marco Angeletti of the CRG Marketing, who coordinates the Kalì Kart Team in this startup phase, has expressed great satisfaction for what concerns this agreement:

“Both Giancarlo Tinini and I have known Franco Drudi for many years and, above all, we know his technical potential and the TM company. We are proud to have had the trust of such an important factory in this phase of relaunching the Kalì Kart Team and we will work side by side with the utmost spirit of collaboration to get the best results in all categories”.

BLANDINO WINS THE WSK CHAMPIONS CUP IN THE MINI CATEGORY

First official time in a WSK meeting and first victory for the Kalì Kart colors. On the Lonato track Cristian Blandino expressed a clear superiority in the Mini category with his Mini Kalì Kart equipped with TM by Salemi engines. In the past we have rarely seen such a dominance that began with Pole Position in Qualifying Practice and continued with victory in all the three Heats, in the Prefinal and in the Final. Only the Mini Team took part in this first race of the season and Nikita Ljubimov also had an excellent weekend in Gr. 3, starting in the top ten in the Final and then finishing in P17 only, due to a race contact. In the Under 10 category, Pedro Gomez was unlucky and had an accident in the Pre-Final and was unable to take part in the race, while Ben Piscopo finished outside the top 15, due to a contact in the Final, but showed excellent performances above all in the Pre-Final.

4 DRIVERS TO RACE IN THE OK AND KZ CATEGORIES

On the eve of the first seasonal races, Kalì Kart has made 4 drivers official for the OK and KZ categories. In the direct-drive top class the team will focus on the pair made up of Peter Stiller and Stefano Pedani, respectively with German and Italian passports, who will also be joined in the first season race by Aleksandar Bogunovic, before the Slovenian driver moves on to the FIA European Championship in the KZ2 category. Since the beginning of the season, however, Simone Bianco has been announced in the Shifter category coming from the CRG ground, where he has been the protagonist of the OK category for the last 2 years.

KALì KART PRESENTS THE DRIVERS LINE UP FOR THE MINI CATEGORY

In the last few weeks, the Tinini Group has formalized the return of the Kalì Kart brand to racing with a Factory Racing Team that will take part in the main WSK events and FIA Karting races. The team has been called Kalì Kart Racing and will be involved in all categories, from Mini to KZ. The objective of the Racing team will be to contribute to the technical development of the chassis and accessories to transfer the racing know-how to series production, but also to promote the brand at an international level thus offering marketing support to the network of sale. In recent days the marketing management of CRG, which follows the development and management of the team, has made 8 drivers official for the 2024 season. The first names to be released were those of the drivers involved in the MINI category, which will be central to the activities of the brands. The first important name concerns the arrival from CRG of Cristian Blandino, who will be joined by the Maltese driver Ben Piscopo, also already involved with CRG colors in 2023 and by the Brazilian Pedro Campos, protagonist of the MINI classes in his country and at the first experiences in Europe. The team will be completed by Nikita Ljubimov, who stood out in the 2023 Rotax Finals, where he finished the meeting in P2.
