THE KALÌ KART COLOURS RETURN TO THE FIA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP OK & OK JUNIOR

After a few years in which the Kalì Kart chassis were mainly involved in the National Championships, this year the Italian brand, part of the Tinini Group, will return to compete in the World Championship in the direct-drive categories. The meeting is going to be this weekend, from September 12th to 15th, on the PF International track in England. There will be 4 Kalì Kart Racing drivers registered for the event: Sam Woolley, Cristian Blandino and Oskar Poberaj in the OK Junior and Simone Bianco in the OK category. Overall there will be over 250 drivers taking part to this international meeting, all competing to stand out and earn a place in professional motorsport, as happened to the winners of past editions.

The Kalì Kart team took part in the Champions of the Future preparation race last week and was able to gain a lot of experience, both in wet track conditions and on a dry track. Sam Woolley certainly has the advantage of knowing the circuit well and demonstrated excellent speed in all track conditions, doing an excellent job on the set up for the race. As for Blandino and Poberaj, last week’s race was mainly useful for finding the feeling with the circuit and also for them the balance of the work done is positive in view of this weekend that is about to begin. In OK Simone Bianco had many ups and downs, but he certainly has the experience to capitalize on the work done and run a good race.

The event program includes the qualifying phases starting on Friday with the qualifying practice and the first heats, while the final phases will take place on Sunday with the Super Heats in the morning and the Finals for the top 36 in the afternoon.
